Villa Des Indes 1 features a traditional Javanese architecture with high-vaulted ceilings and an open-plan layout. Adorned with curated antiques sourced from across the archipelago, the villa consists of several Joglo-style pavilions, which were imported from Java and reconstructed on-site. The property is wrapped up by a luscious exotic garden with a shimmering lagoon-shaped swimming pool in the centre. All four bedrooms are divided into separate pavilions adding to the increased privacy and comfort.
The living room is located within the main building overlooking the turquoise pool. Furnished with colonial-inspired furnishing and adorned with curated antiques, the living room is a perfect place to socialise or curl up with a book. In the same pavilion, sits the villa’s grand teak wood dining table flanked by oriental carpets and offering the unobstructed garden and pool vistas.
